Dixie Fly-over Bridge Opening Date: April 10, 2012

The intersection of NE 2nd ST and NE 2nd Ave will be closed beginning the 2nd week of April. This is to allow brick paver installation and reconstruction of the intersection. This closure is anticipated to last one month. 

Access to businesses along NE 2nd Ave WILL be maintained.

Traffic will be detoured onto the Dixie Flyover Bridge.

Motorists are advised to exert full caution during the new traffic pattern. Please follow all traffic regulations such as remember to come to a complete stop at all stop signs. Safety is our priority; please notify us always of any concerns or suggestions that you may have in order to continue providing you with a safe commute.

Anticipated Schedule:

Dixie Flyover open to traffic- April 10, 2012

Estimated Construction Complete Early Summer 2012.

Anticipated work for the month of April to June 2012:

• Final Asphalt placementand pavement striping
• Sign installation
• Irrigation and Landscaping throughout the project limits
• Lighting installation
• Reconstruction of NE 2nd Ave and NE 2nd Street.
